Dependent on your registry product being compatible, you can now submit data directly from your registry vendor’s product rather than through the Data Center. This automated process eliminates the need for manual uploads and allows for submissions outside a Call for Data window.
Yes. After each submission, you will receive an Upload History Report indicating whether the file was successfully uploaded, as well as a Validation Summary Report highlighting any validation flags.
Your registry vendor has been informed of the change and will provide directions on how to send data directly from your registry product to the Data Center.
The Call for Data deadlines will remain the same, but participants are now able to submit patients as soon as they have completed abstraction. You no longer need to wait until a Call for Data window opens to submit data. You can continue uploading in increments that work best for your team, as long as all necessary data is submitted by the respective deadline.
Yes, for the time being the uploader feature will remain operational. While we can't guarantee this option will be available beyond 2026, you will still be able to upload data through the Data Center over the coming year.
The new data submission process will support trauma centers sending the current admission year and the two previous years. The initial year of this new process will allow for the submission of admission years 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Yes, these reports will continue to be available for your review. However, with this new process your registry will receive any validation errors directly, so you can make corrections right away in your registry product.
This should lessen the need to view the Validation Summary Report in the Data Center. In addition, we are going to be releasing two news reports on the Data Center that should supplement this new process. We will have more information on these new reports soon. They’ll serve as an alternative to the submission frequency report, allowing you to view data across multiple submissions and drill down into individual patients if needed.
