Discussion Group

The NTDS Google Group is a private discussion group, and the Trauma Quality Programs (TQP) regularly monitors the discussion topics as well as the members. The TQP reserves the right to remove any member for any reason at all. Any offensive remarks or materials will be subject to immediate dismissal.

The Google Group Posting Guidelines are as follows:

• Posts to this group should be NTDS related, or directly relevant to most subscribers.
• When possible, do not send emails to the entire group when only one individual needs to be contacted. Email that individual directly. The usefulness of the group declines if subscribers stop reading emails because they receive too many posts.
• We request that you do not respond to questions about ACS programs including the NTDS data dictionary. We would like to be sure these questions are answered consistently by ACS staff who are accountable for these programs and the NTDS data dictionary. This leaves a vast area of discussion for the group.
• The NTDS Google group is not a forum for recruiting staff and fielding surveys unless they have been approved by ACS. No product endorsements, please, or in-depth discussions of the pros and cons of software products. Please have those discussions offline.
• The NTDS Google group is not a forum for advertising programs, courses, conferences etc. unless approved by ACS staff.
• All members must always maintain a professional code of conduct.
• Failure to comply with these posting guidelines could lead to restricted posting privileges, or removal of the group, by the ACS administrative staff.
