I graduate from Sylhet M.A.G.Osmani Medical College Hospital in 1997. I did Ms in Pediatric Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2008. I am the Life Member of Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh (BGD), Society of Endo -laparoscopic Surgeons of BGD, Association of Breast Surgeons of BGD, Society of Burn Injuries of BGD, EC & LM of Association of Pediatric Surgeons of BGD, Regular Member of Working Group of Cure4Kids, Asia Pacific Pediatric Surgical Oncology Collaborations,Global Neuroblastoma Network,SIOP PODC, SIOP PODC Education and Training, SIOP PODC Abandonment of Treatment, St. Jude Asia Pacific Tumor Board.I am currently working as unit head,Department of Pediatric Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital.I am involved as a teacher& examiner of undergraduate & postgraduate students & supervisor of MS thesis ( Pediatric Surgery). I am the team leader of (1) successful separation of pygopagus variety of conjoined twin (Tofa & Tohura) which is presented as success stories in health sector in 2017 at United Assembly and “Health Sector Bulletin 2017” (2) first successful surgery of esophageal atresia with tracheoesophageal fistula at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.I am one of the contributors of “National Guidelines for Management Of Childhood Malignancies In Bangladesh”.I have many scientific research, publications at national & international level. I married to Amirul Morshed, Professor of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology, ADG (Admin), DGME, Mohakhali, Dhaka. We are blessed with two children.I took initiative with collaboration of different department to set up tumor board for pediatric cancer care since 18/02/2019, to start CME regularly on pediatric oncology since 20/01/2020, to develop different working group, in my unit a Weekly Pediatric Surgical Oncology Clinic from 01 January, 2018. My ultimate dream is to set a goal for beating childhood cancer– no child should die of cancer: cure for more & care for all through our hands.
