Breaking the Cycle: Advocacy Resources for Surgeons Regarding Intimate Partner Violence

Intimate Partner Violence affects surgeons and their friends, family members, and patients. Surgeons, physicians, and healthcare professionals can change an individual’s life by effectively identifying people who have sustained IPV and referring them to the appropriate resources. This upcoming moderated discussion will provide viewers with an opportunity to learn about what advocacy resources victims and survivors of Intimate Partner Violence have access to. The discussion will include what legal protections are available and how a surgeon can be an advocate regarding Intimate Partner Violence. Join us for a live moderated discussion followed by a Q&A.
