Promote World Cancer Day in February

The Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) encourage your site to promote World Cancer Day on February 4, 2025. World Cancer Day is an international initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Unique by Unique” with a goal to place people at the center of their care and create a space for their stories. 

To help you promote World Cancer Day within your program and community, ACS Cancer Programs has developed customizable posters that can be downloaded at the Marketing Resources section in your site's Quality Portal (QPort).

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
