Call for Cancer Research Program Implementation Research Committee Members

The ACS Cancer Research Program (CRP) is launching the Implementation Research Committee and is seeking new members.
The ACS Cancer Programs sets standards, including operative and accreditation standards. Implementation of these standards is critical to the mission of the ACS Cancer Programs. The Implementation Research Committee will study the implementation of accreditation standards, including the operative standards, and quality measures to understand barriers and facilitators to implementation; develop and test implementation strategies; and evaluate implementation outcomes such as costs and sustainability. The committee also will develop education and training, and investigative support for implementation research.
The application for membership on the CRP Implementation Research Committee is open; the deadline is July 31. Additional information can be found on the CRP website. Questions can be sent to cancerresearchprogram@facs.org.
