Attend Academy Virtual Grand Rounds on the Learning Environment and Culture

Later this week, the ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators Grand Rounds Series will present a virtual panel discussion exploring the topic of Learning Environment and Learning Culture in surgical education. The session will be on Thursday, September 19, at 7:00 pm CT. The panelists include:

  • Amit R.T. Joshi, MD, FACS, professor of surgery and associate dean for graduate medical education at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey
  • Roy Phitayakorn, MD, MHPE, FACS, vice-chair of education in the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Surgery and associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School
  • Paula M. Termuhlen, MD, FACS, professor of surgery emerita at the Western Michigan University Home Stryker MD School of Medicine in Kalamazoo

This Grand Rounds program will be moderated by Mohsen M. Shabahang, MD, PhD, FACS, Chair of the Subcommittee on Novel Teaching and Assessment Methods and Educational Resources for the ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators, and Ajit K. Sachdeva, MD, FACS, FRCSC, Academy Co-Chair.
