Attend Webinar on Complying with New Age Friendly Hospital Measure

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released an Age Friendly Hospital Measure to help optimize the care and outcomes of older patients. Hospitals in the US will be required to comply with the new measure beginning January 1, 2025.

On Tuesday, September 17, at 11:00 am CT, the ACS will hosting a 45-minute webinar to explain the new measure and answer your questions about how the Geriatric Surgery Verification (GSV) Program can help your hospital meet this new regulatory requirement.

The ACS championed this evidence-based measure, which is designed to incentivize and support hospitals as they address the complexities of caring for the medical, physiological, and psychosocial needs of older patients who are often inadequately addressed by the current healthcare infrastructure.

The measure was informed by ACS Quality Programs, including the GSV Program, which have demonstrably improved patient care, while also saving time and resources, leading to better patient goal attainment and an improved overall bottom line for care systems.
