In addition to sessions of broad clinical interest and networking opportunities, one of the most valuable elements of Clinical Congress is access to a vast selection of opportunities for attendees to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits that meet content, compliance, and site survey regulatory requirements.
This year, the ACS has designated the In-Person (Live and On-Demand) Clinical Congress for a maximum of 211.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and the Virtual (On-Demand) Clinical Congress for a maximum of 179.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. The on-demand access to courses will allow most registrants to meet their CME requirements for state licensing boards in a convenient package over a longer period.
Topics are offered in all surgical specialties and for surgeons at all career levels.
The deadline to claim credit is February 24, 2025, so learning can continue beyond the in-person event. Residents and allied health professionals are eligible for a Certificate of Completion.
In addition to CME, Clinical Congress 2024 offers courses that provide Credit to Address Regulatory Mandates on topics such as behavioral health, end-of-life care, and more; self-assessment credit that counts toward American Board of Surgery Maintenance of Certification Part 2; and credit to address ACS Accreditation/Verification Requirements to meet compliance with ACS Quality Programs.
Whether attending in-person or virtually, Clinical Congress 2024 offers incredible value. Learn more in Clinical Congress News, then register for the conference before prices increase on Thursday, October 10. Use the Interactive Program Planner to plan your schedule.
