International Surgeons: Apply for 2026 NSQIP International Scholarships to Enhance Global Surgical Quality

May 6, 2025

The ACS is providing scholarships for three surgeons from countries outside the US or Canada who exhibit a keen interest in surgical quality improvement through the international ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP®).

The International ACS NSQIP Scholarships, valued at $10,000 each, enable the scholars to participate in the annual ACS Quality and Safety Conference, which will be held jointly with the ACS Cancer Conference beginning in 2026. The scholars also will engage with program leaders and surgeon champions from hospitals participating in ACS Quality Programs.

Following the conference, the candidates are encouraged to visit one or two hospitals aligned with their specific clinical interests. The hospitals chosen by the scholars should also have strong quality programs.

The deadline to apply is June 15. Visit the scholarship web page or contact scholarships@facs.org for more information.
