Join March 13 Fireside Chat with Dr. Keith Lillemoe, Chief of Surgery at MGH

The ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators Fireside Chat Series connects Academy membership and others in the surgical education community with renowned experts for open dialogue driven by audience questions. On March 13 at 7:00–8:00 pm, join Keith D. Lillemoe, MD, FACS, as he discusses a celebrated career and important lessons learned.

Dr. Lillemoe is surgeon-in-chief and chief of surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, and W. Gerald Austen Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He has a long history of service as a surgical educator at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, and at Harvard in Boston, Massachusetts.

He has been a leader in many surgical societies, including Society of Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, the Society of University Surgeons, the American Surgical Association, and more. Dr. Lillemoe is a prolific author and researcher, having published nearly 600 journal articles and 150 book chapters, edited more than 20 textbooks, and delivered visiting professorships and lectures around the world.
