Ukraine

Before the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine, Dr. Antonyuk was CEO of a network of private medical centers. From the first days of the war, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With more than 10 years of extensive medical and organizational experience as a surgeon and healthcare organizer, he effectively has been directing the work of an advanced surgical department during martial law.

From 2014 to 2015, he served in the military under mobilization in a field military hospital. The practical medical skills and experience he gained during the anti-terrorist operation have been constantly improved, as he keeps up with the latest developments in military field surgery.

Under the leadership and direct involvement of Dr. Antonyuk, a Forward Surgical Team was formed, its work was organized, and mobilized personnel were trained to operate in field conditions. He united the staff into a cohesive team, enabling the department to work efficiently.

In September 2022, the department was deployed to provide medical care to wounded soldiers. Dr. Antonyuk organized the department's operations based on the premises of a medical facility located on the front line. In a short period, a surgical team was set up, playing a critical role in providing medical care to wounded soldiers.
