The International Relations Committee hosts free webinars on topics important to the global surgical community. These webinars provide both an educational experience and discussion forum so that international surgeons can learn, pose questions, and share ideas with leaders in the global surgical community.

Members from the International Relations Committee and the Military Health System Strategic Partnership at the American College of Surgeons (MHSSPACS) will introduce the Military Clinical Readiness Curriculum to International Surgeons. The curriculum is designed for a general surgeon deployed to a relatively far-forward battlefield base who must be capable of providing initial trauma resuscitation and life- and limb-saving surgical procedures for those injured in combat.

Panelists will discuss how natural disasters can significantly impact the OR. This webinar will examine the impact of natural disasters on patterns of acute surgical presentations and the surgeon's role in disaster response.

During this webinar, panelists will share information on how the Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery manuals provide guidelines for surgeons who treat colon cancer that can be applied internationally. Panelists will share how surgeons can access and utilize the standards in their practice.
