Regional Surgical Skills Courses

Regional hands-on surgical skills courses are designed to provide attendees with practical training and experience in various surgical techniques and procedures. Courses are targeted to practicing surgeons, fellows, and residents who wish to enhance their surgical skills and proficiency. Regional Surgical Skills Courses are planned throughout the United States at ACS Accredited Education Institutes (AEIs) to bring hands-on educational opportunities to learners.

The Laparoscopic Common Bile Duct Exploration hybrid course features online recorded didactic lectures and an in-person hands-on skills lab. This course is designed for surgeons who want an overview of pre- and intraoperative decision-making for patients with choledocholithiasis, as well as how to perform and accurately interpret intraoperative cholangiography (IOC).
