Clinical Congress Session Showcase

The Clinical Congress Session Showcase aims to highlight select panel sessions presented at Clinical Congress 2023. These sessions were hand-selected by the Clinical Congress Program Committee and will offer a fresh perspective on the most popular panel sessions at Clinical Congress.

  • All registrants will have on-demand access to the 90-minute session that was presented in Boston and are encouraged to watch the video before the live webinar to ensure a deeper understanding of the material and allow for a more engaging discussion during the webinar.
  • During the live webinar, each speaker will highlight the key educational content covered at Clinical Congress 2023 and reinforce important points from their presentations. After the live webinar, the recording will be available on-demand on the course site.
  • Additionally, leaders in the field will be invited to offer commentary during the webinar, adding an extra layer of expertise and insight.

We hope that this series will provide another avenue for participants who were unable to attend Clinical Congress 2023 to advance their surgical knowledge through live interaction with the faculty. Attendees will be able to claim CME credit after completing the coursework and course evaluation.

Available On Demand through Friday, August 2, 2024

Despite wide prevalence and an enormous cost to our healthcare system, management of diverticulitis continues to lack standardization. There is a growing gap between evidence-based practice and actual care provided to patients. This informative session is designed to bridge that gap and will be useful for any general, gastrointestinal, or acute care surgeon who treats diverticulitis.

Specific topics include nonoperative management, the role of antibiotics in the treatment of acute, uncomplicated diverticulitis, and the role of primary anastomosis in the acute setting. Access to this course and credit claiming will close on Friday, August 2, 2024.

This webinar is approved for 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1™ credits.
