Registration

Registration for the 2026 ACS Surgical Simulation Summit will open in December. Please check back here for updates!

Who Should Attend and What’s Included?

Registration is open to anyone involved in the delivery of simulation-based surgical education, including, but not limited to surgeons, physicians, residents, medical students, educators, simulation center directors and administrators, simulation technicians, and academic engineers.

The registration fee includes a name badge, program book, two breakfasts, two lunches, coffee breaks, and a networking reception with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. It also includes entrance to all sessions, including workshops, and the exhibit hall. Additionally, attendees will be able to claim CME credit and Patient Safety Credits.

Attendees are not officially registered for the meeting until registration and payment have been received.

Attendees must work at an Accredited Education Institute (AEI) at the time of registration to receive the AEI Member rate. Your status will be verified during registration. Review the list of AEIs.

*An AEI Simulation Education Fellow is an individual who is currently enrolled in an ACS-accredited Fellowship Program. Your status will be verified during registration. Review the list of accredited fellowship programs.

**The American College of Surgeons offers discounted registration fees for AEI member and nonmember residents, medical students, and academic engineers.

 A Retired ACS Fellow is an individual who has notified the College, meets the ACS definition of Retired, has been granted Retired status, and is officially listed in the ACS database as Retired. The ACS definition of a Retired member is a surgeon who is not in the active practice of providing surgical or nonsurgical patient care, participating in funded research, or performing compensated teaching or administrative duties. Questions about Retired member status should be directed to dues@facs.org.

††Industry employees who do not want to exhibit but would like to attend educational programming may register at this rate. Industry employees do not qualify for the AEI Nonmember rate and are not eligible to claim CME. In addition, industry employees are prohibited from providing product-promotional materials or product-specific advertisements of any kind during the accredited educational event. Industry employees also cannot influence the content of the CME program in any way, during their attendance at the event.

Cancelation Policy

All meeting participants must notify ACS Registration Services via email at registration@facs.org to cancel their registration. Cancelations must be received by February 19, 2026, and will be assessed at $100 cancelation fee. Credit card refunds will be processed as received; check refunds will be processed 3–4 weeks after the conclusion of the meeting. Attendees who cancel after February 19, 2026, will forfeit all registration fees.

Meeting Attire

Business attire is appropriate for all meeting sessions.

Recordings

This program will be electronically recorded by the ACS-AEI Program. By attendance and/or participation in discussions, registrants agree that ACS may electronically copy, record, and distribute registrants’ attendance at and involvement in the program discussion and question-and-answer periods. No individual or entity other than the ACS may electronically record any portion of this program for any purpose without the consent of ACS.

Photo and Video Disclaimer

ACS plans to take photographs and videos during the ACS Surgical Simulation Summit and reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. ACS may use the photograph/video in educational, news, or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other forms of media, including on our website.

To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject.

A person attending the ACS Surgical Simulation Summit who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer and/or the ACS staff. 

By participating in this meeting or by failing to notify us, in writing, your desire to not have your image used by ACS, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify ACS from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
