The Manchester Grand Hyatt is ideally located for exploring a wealth of exciting attractions and activities steps from the hotel, including the San Diego Convention Center, Balboa Park, Seaport Village shops and the Gaslamp Quarter.  Unwind in spacious hotel rooms and family suites featuring stunning views and appointed with upscale amenities. The hotel features a complimentary fitness center, (6) onsite restaurants and bars, and other modern amenities such as complimentary guestroom Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and in-room mini-refrigerator.

Booking Your Room

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Manchester Grand Hyatt at the special group rate of $319.00 single/double plus tax (currently 10.50% TOT, 2% Marketing District assessment and $0.65 CA. per room assessment) per night.

Hotel check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, and check-out is at 11:00 am local time. Every effort will be made to accommodate both early check-in and late check-out for guests, however it cannot be guaranteed and is based on availability of the hotel.

Reservation Deadline

The cut-off date to receive the special group rate is Friday, June 20, 2025. Reservations received after this date, or after the room block fills, will be based on space and rate availability.

Cancellation

Reservation cancellations must be received by the hotel at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date in order to avoid a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax.

Early Departure Fee

Checking-out prior to the scheduled checkout date (after checking in) will incur an early departure fee equal to one night’s room and tax. To avoid this fee, please advise the hotel at or prior to check-in of any changes to your departure plans.

**Please note that a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. Credit card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no show.

Government-Rated Rooms

A limited number of government-rated rooms have been contracted at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. To qualify for government per diem rates, guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in that consists of:

For U.S. Federal Government Per Diem Rates:

  • Personnel badge or ID card issued to U.S. Federal Government civilian employees
  • Official Government/Military Travel Orders/Proof of Official Duty Status (some hotels may require travel orders in addition to another form of ID)
  • S. Military ID card issued to U.S. Military Personnel on Official Travel
  • Common Access Card (CAC) issued to U.S. Federal Government civilian employees and U.S. Military Personnel on Official Travel (excludes CAC cards issued to contractors and retired military)
  • S. Federal Government issued Visa, MasterCard or American Express Card (i.e. SmartPay Credit Card)
  • Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) identification card
  • Native American Tribal Government ID card
  • Canadian government or active-duty military issued ID or credit card

For State and Local Government Per Diem Rates:

  • State or local government issued personnel badge or ID card
  • Official Travel orders on original state or local government letterhead

If you cannot provide one of these forms of identification, the hotel will provide you with the standard Group Rate per night ($319 plus applicable taxes) at the time of check-in.
