Science in San Francisco: ECMO for the Non-Cardiac Surgeon

ECMO is being used more frequently in unique populations, including general surgery and trauma patients, and surgeons are asking, “Are we overusing ECMO in non-cardiac cases?” Moderators Dr. Faisal Aziz and Dr. Dominic Emerson highlight what will be discussed in this #ACSCC24 Panel Session, while also sharing that with the increased use of ECMO, “staying informed isn’t just beneficial, it’s become essential for all surgeons.”
