The ACS conducted extensive audience research to determine the best design for the new facs.org. As a result of this research, we organized the website with audience-based navigation around our quality programs, for medical professionals, and for patients. Each page has sub-navigation choices to help you find your content.
The top complaint about the old website was the lack of relevant search results it provided to users. The new search function has been completely redesigned and dramatically improved to help users get the most accurate results.
It’s important to note that the search function will continue to improve over time as it learns user habits and content preferences.
