Committees of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) represent various aspects of the surgical profession to help serve you as a member of the College. The numerous interests of our wide-ranging membership base are represented through the work of more than 30 committees. We invite you to learn more about how ACS committees are working on your behalf.
The size of each committee has been determined by the Board of Regents. Changes in the number of active members of a committee must have Regental approval.
Committee members are generally requested to attend a minimum of one in-person per year along with conference calls, and to actively contribute to committee projects and initiatives.
